The library of the Plovdiv Branch of Sofia Technical University, was established in 1986 and it has been developing as an up-to-date information centre. Nowadays, there are over 100,000 library units available.
The library consists of a central university library in Building 3 and a branch library in Building 2 with a total area of 748 m2, three reading rooms which can seat a total of 68 people.
The library is linked to the university LAN. It has 10 workstations and provides an opportunity for wireless internet.
The library offers a wide range of traditional and modern services: drawing up bibliographical references, bibliographical lists, on-line database search, inter-library loans, etc.
The following electronic resources can be used in the library: bibliographic and full-text research on-line databases - ScienceDirect, ProQuest, ISI Web of Knowledge, Scopus, Engineering Village, EBSCOPublishing and journals of SpringerLink.
